Family-run company located in Castelmartini, a small hamlet in the municipality of Larciano. The main crops mainly concern vegetables, cereals, oil and wine.
Appreciated for its products (the quality and daily freshness of which is guaranteed) the company was founded by two young entrepreneurs (Fabio and Luca) who decided to continue the work started by their grandparents.
The business started as a multifunctional company, also dealing with breeding, evolving and specializing over time in the fruit and vegetable sector. The farm is located near the Fucecchio Marshes and near Villa Banchieri (or Castelmartini), thus creating the perfect cultural scenario for those wishing to purchase our products.
The vegetables are harvested directly on the farm (and grown in open fields and in greenhouses) except the olives which are located near Colle di Buggiano and pressed in the oil mill with cold mechanical methods, thus obtaining a genuine and simple oil. The olive grove has around 800 olive trees of mixed varieties such as frantoio, moraiolo, pendolino and holm oak, which are harvested by hand and cultivated according to environmentally friendly techniques. While for open field crops, we find aubergines, peppers, courgettes, string beans (or snakes) and preserved and salad tomatoes.
While winter leaves room for the cultivation of cabbage, cabbage, flowers, as well as fennel and turnip greens. With the arrival of Ilaria, the company joined the Campagna Amica project, making KM0 the company philosophy, giving it the opportunity to participate in educational projects at primary and secondary schools, making use of the figure of pedagogist of the new member .
